Winter is about to set in here in the midwest U.S.. I plan to ride every opportunity that it's above freezing and sunny, but there could be long stretches of time where I won't be able to get my bikes out. Question: Will my Savage idling in the garage for twenty minutes or so every now and then keep the battery up, or does the battery only get charged when riding? I have the same question about my 2000 Suzuki VZ800, if anyone knows. Thanks!
